Day 1A Warm Welcome to Cairo

Upon a smooth flight, our representative extends a warm welcome to you in Cairo, assisting you with a seamless arrival. Subsequently, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2Giza Pyramids / Sphinx / Sakkara

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a journey in a modern, private, air-conditioned van to the Giza Plateau. A private Egyptologist will guide you through a tour of the Great Pyramid Area, where you will gain insights into the historical and architectural significance of the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The tour continues with a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Giza, allowing ample opportunities to capture these awe-inspiring structures in photographs. Following this, you will visit the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx, where you can take unrivaled photos. A delightful Egyptian meal, infused with oriental flavors and crafted with care, awaits you at a restaurant overlooking the Pyramids. Subsequently, you will head to the Sakkara Complex, home to the oldest complete stone building complex known in history: the Pyramid of Djoser, built during the Third Dynasty. After an enchanting stroll through history, you will spend the night in Cairo. Meal Plan: Breakfast – Lunch

Day 3Grand Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel, Alabaster Mosque

Commence your day with breakfast at the hotel. Your day’s itinerary includes a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the first museum to showcase the breathtaking full tomb collection of King Tutankhamun, comprising approximately 5000 items. Lunch will be enjoyed at an outdoor restaurant. Following this, you will proceed to explore the Citadel of Saladin, built in the 12th century, and the Alabaster Mosque, constructed in 1848 AD, mirroring the Blue Mosque of Istanbul. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast – Lunch

Day 4Cairo / Abusimbel / Aswan

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and transfer by a private air-conditioned van to Cairo International Airport for a domestic flight to Abusimbel. Upon arrival at Abusimbel Airport, our On The Move Travel Representative will greet you and commence your tour to visit the Two Temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II over 3000 years ago. After your visit, you will transfer to Abusimbel Airport for a domestic flight back to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay. Day 5Philae Temple

Following breakfast at the hotel, check out and embark on a journey to explore the Isis Temple (Philae Temple) on Agilka Island, reached via a motorboat. Many consider this temple to be the most beautiful in Egypt. Your guide will lead you on a walking tour through the temple’s sections before allowing you free time for further exploration and unforgettable photo opportunities. Afterward, transfer to the cruise ship for embarkation, with lunch, dinner, and overnight on board. Meal Plan: Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day 6Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast on board the cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the double sanctuary temple of Kom Ombo, gracefully situated on the riverbank. Your Egyptologist will share the story of this temple, dedicated to two gods: the crocodile, representing God Sobek, and the falcon, symbolizing God Haroeris. Return to your cruise for lunch on board and enjoy the picturesque Nile scenery as you sail to Edfu. In Edfu, you will visit the Horus Temple before having dinner on board and an overnight stay. Day 7Luxor

Enjoy breakfast on board the cruise, then embark on a day tour to explore the West Bank of Luxor. Your first stop will be the Valley of the Kings, where generations of Pharaohs and nobles were laid to rest in crypts carved into the cliffs. Next, visit Queen Hatshepsut Temple, an extraordinary monument built into the eastern face of the Theban Mountain. Finally, see the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues representing King Amenophis III seated on cube-shaped thrones. After lunch, explore the Karnak Temples complex, the largest place of worship ever constructed and the largest ancient religious site globally. Return to your cruise for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 8Luxor / Cairo - Cairo by Night Walking Tour

After breakfast on board, disembark from the cruise and transfer to Luxor airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, check in at Le Meridien Airport Hotel and enjoy some free time for relaxation. Later, your guide will pick you up for a captivating walking tour of El Muezz Street, renowned for its concentration of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world. This street redefines words like majesty and beauty and is often considered one of Egypt’s finest open-air museums. Continue your walking tour to visit Khan El Khalili old bazaars before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast

Day 9Cultural Highlights - Fly to Sharm El Sheikh

Our quest to explore Egypt’s pharaonic history in Cairo continues with a visit to the renowned Civilization Museum, which recently witnessed the iconic parade of 22 Royal Egyptian mummies. Following this, delve into Cairo’s Coptic history, starting with the highlights of Old Cairo. You will visit the oldest Christian Church in Egypt, “the Hanging Church,” which played a significant role in various ceremonies for the Coptic hierarchy of Cairo. You’ll also visit St. Sergius Church, constructed atop a cave where the Holy Family sought refuge during their flight from Babylon. Additionally, explore one of Egypt’s oldest synagogues, “Ben Ezra Synagogue.” Afterward, indulge in an Egyptian lunch. Following your visit, transfer to Cairo airport for a domestic flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day 10Sharm El Sheikh

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. The day is free for leisure, allowing you to enjoy the amenities of the resort and relax. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh. Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Day 11Mt. Sinai

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and depart from Sharm El Sheikh in a private air-conditioned van at around 7:00 AM, reaching St. Catherine at 10:00 AM. Your day’s highlight will be a visit to the Monastery of St. Catherine, which holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously inhabited monastery globally, housing a library with one of the most extensive religious collections after the Vatican. After the visit, return to Sharm El Sheikh in our private air-conditioned van and enjoy an overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Day 12Sharm El Sheikh

After breakfast at the hotel, you have another day free to relax and enjoy the facilities of the resort. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh. Meal Plan: Breakfast – Dinner

Day 13Sharm / Cairo

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out, and transfer to Sharm airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, check in at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay. Meal Plan: Breakfast
