Day 1A Warm Welcome to Cairo

After a smooth flight, our representative will extend a warm welcome to you upon your arrival in Cairo. They will assist you with a hassle-free check-in at the hotel, where you will spend the night.

Day 2Cairo's Highlights

Highlights Following a delightful breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a journey in a modern, private, air-conditioned van to the Giza Plateau. Accompanied by a private Egyptologist, you will explore the Great Pyramid Area, delving into its historical and architectural significance as one of the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. A delectable Egyptian meal infused with oriental flavors awaits you, followed by visits to the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx for unparalleled photo opportunities. Your day continues with a visit to the Sakkara Complex, home to the Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest complete stone building complex in history, dating back to the Third Dynasty. After a mesmerizing walk through history, you will spend the night in Cairo.

Day 3Fly to Luxor

Bid farewell to Cairo as you board a private air-conditioned van to the airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, a culturally enriching tour of Luxor’s East Bank awaits you. The central part of Luxor township boasts the renowned Temple of Luxor and Karnak Temples, and your Egyptologist guide will lead you through a journey of ancient history. Your exploration begins with the Karnak Temples, the second most visited site in Egypt and believed to be the largest religious worship site in the world. You will proceed to the Luxor Temple, once connected to Karnak Temples through Luxor Dromos, an avenue adorned with human-headed sphinxes. This temple was dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Subsequently, you will embark on your cruise, enjoy lunch on board, and prepare for a delightful dinner.

Day 4Luxor West Bank

Following a delightful morning breakfast, you will explore Luxor’s West Bank. Your itinerary includes a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where you will explore royal tombs. Next, you will visit the Queen Hatshepsut Temple, nestled beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari and facing the Theban Mountain. Your journey continues with a stop at the colossal Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise for lunch and dinner as you sail to Edfu.

Day 5Sail through the Nile to Edfu & Kom Ombo

Enjoy a pleasant breakfast in the morning before arriving in Edfu, where you will visit the Horus Temple. Subsequently, your cruise will take you to Kom Ombo, where you will explore the double sanctuary temple, perched picturesquely on the riverbank. Your Egyptologist will illuminate the temple’s history, dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris.

Day 6Aswan

After breakfast, you have the option for an early morning visit to the Abu Simbel temple. Following this, you will explore the Isis Temple (Philae Temple) on Agilka Island, reached via a motorboat. This temple, rescued from destruction in a collaborative effort between UNESCO and the Egyptian Government, reveals ancient stories depicted on its walls, centering on the goddess “Isis” — the deity associated with magic, death, and motherhood. After your visit, return to the cruise for an overnight stay.

Day 7Flight to Cairo

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel and embark on a tour to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, the first museum to display the breathtaking full tomb collection of King Tutankhamun, featuring approximately 5000 items. Enjoy lunch at an outdoor restaurant and continue your tour with visits to the Citadel of Saladin, built in the 12th century, and the Alabaster Mosque, constructed in 1848 AD, inspired by Istanbul’s Blue Mosque. Conclude your day with a visit to Khan-el-Khalili old Bazaar, a vibrant market where you can negotiate for souvenirs and traditional local crafts. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
