Itinerary

Day 1A Warm Welcome to Cairo

After a smooth flight, our representative will receive you with a warm welcome to Cairo, and assist you with a hassle-free arrival. Then you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in and free time for relaxing

At noon time visit the Egyptian Museum & old Cairo ( Hanging church and Abu serga church ) back to the hotel & overnight

Day 2Cairo’s Highlights

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, You will be on the move in a modern, private, AC van to The Giza Plateau. A private Egyptologist will take you on a tour to visit the Great Pyramid Area where you will learn about the historic and architectural significance of the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Afterwards, it’s time for a delicious Egyptian meal made with love and oriental flavors then you will visit the Valley Temple, and Great Sphinx, where you can pose to take unrivaled photos. Then, you will head to Sakkara Complex, home to the oldest complete stone building complex known in history, the Pyramid of Djoser, built during the Third Dynasty. After a mesmerizing walk through history,. Afterwards visit Khan El Khalili old bazzars , back to the hotel Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3Fly to Luxor

It’s time to say goodbye to Cairo. You will take your private A/C van to the airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. After a smooth arrival, you will be on an original cultural tour to visit the East bank of Luxor, which is the central part of Luxor township, centered on the twin foci of the Temple of Luxor and the Karnak Temples. You will be on the move with your Egyptologist to a tour through ancient history, starting with Karnak Temples, the second most visited site in Egypt and is believed to be the largest worship religious site in the world. Moving on to Luxor Temple, which was once connected to Karnak Temples through Luxor dromos, an avenue of human headed sphinxes. The temple was dedicated to the Theban triad Amun, Mut and Khonsu. You will then be on the move to Embark on your cruise. Lunch on board then  quite  relaxing and cosy time, prepare for a nice dinner on board.

Day 4Luxor West Bank

Enjoy a lovely breakfast in the morning before you will be on the move to Luxor’s West Bank. You will visit Valley of the Kings where you will explore royal tombs. Afterwards, you will visit Queen Hatshepsut Temple located beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari, and at the Eastern side facing the Theban Mountain. Your next stop will be the great two statues Colossi of Memnon. Back to your cruise , Lunch & Dinner on board while sailing to Edfu .

Day 5Sail through the Nile to Edfu & Kom Ombo

Enjoy a lovely breakfast in the morning , arrival  Edfu, where you will visit Horus temple. Then you will sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the double sanctuary temple of Kom Ombo, which is picturesquely situated on the river bank. Your Egyptologist will share with you the story behind that temple being dedicated to two Gods: the crocodile representing God Sobek as well as the Falcon representing God Haroeris.

Day 6( Aswan ) Philae temple visit

After Breakfast , you will be on the move to explore Isis Temple (Philae Temple) at Agilka island, via a motor boat. The temple was rescued from destruction in a joint operation by the UNESCO and Egyptian Government. There you will get to learn more details about the Temple’s rescue operation and the ancient history narrated on its walls of the ancient goddess “Isis;” the Goddess of magic, death and motherhood. After your visit, transfer back to the cruise and overnight

Day 7Flight to Cairo / Amman

Breakfast on board , Disembarkation  , transfer by Private A/C van to Aswan airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo  arrival , then a flight to Amman , arrival , check in at the hotel & overnight

Day 8Mt Nebo - Madaba - King’s Way – Mujib Photo Stop - Kerak Castle

A tour of several hours along a scenic route lies ahead of you. Your driver takes you to Mt Nebo. From here overlook the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. According to the Bible this is the place where Moses was granted to see the Promised Land before he died and alleged to be his burial place. Short ride to Madaba, the town known in Jordan as the “City of Mosaic”. See the famous 6th century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land at St. George’s Church. Travel along the famous ancient caravan route of the King’s Way. Short photo stop in Wadi Al Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation, identical with the Arnon River of the Hebrew Bible. Then to the remains of the Crusader castle Kerak. Explore the underground passageways, enjoy the view and imagine how the forces of Salah ad-Din besieged this stronghold several times. Afterwards, drive 2 hours to your hotel in Petra for check-in and a leisurely evening.

Day 9Petra

Today visit the highlight of Jordan, the red rose city Petra! You are able to start as early as 06:00, but early birds don’t forget to ask the hotel for a breakfast box the day before. Petra is Jordan’s top attraction and was founded around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs. Initially a nomadic tribe, they developed agriculture techniques and became successful as traders. Meet your local guide and pass the narrow canyon, the so-called Siq, with its colourful sandstone. At the end you will be rewarded with a view of the most beautiful monument, the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. After around 2 hours the guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area. You have free time to explore Petra on your own. The young at heart for instance have the chance to climb the 800 stairs to the 45 meters high Monastery El Deir. Return along the same trail to the main gate, and from here back to the hotel. Overnight in Petra.

Day 10Petra / Dead sea

At a pre-arranged time, your driver meets you in the hotel lobby. It takes two and a half hours to reach the Dead Sea. Check into your hotel for a leisurely afternoon at the beach, floating on salty waters or covering your skin with the popular mud from the shores.

Day 11final departure

At a prearranged time, we pick you up from your hotel lobby. Transfer to Amman airport
